Visiting the Cinema with the Grandchildren

If you have retired and are enjoying a pension annuity then life is really only just beginning! With time and an income, it is possible to thoroughly enjoy your retirement, and one way, is by visiting the local cinema with the grandchildren.

The cinema can be an expensive place to visit, but not if you avail yourself of one or more of the discounts that are normally on offer. Many cinemas offer discounts for a variety of people, and you may fall under one or more categories. For example, some offer pensioners a discounted one off rate, whilst others offer a monthly ticket which for a set fee enables you to see as many films as you want during that month.

2011 is a great year for cinema as well, with some wonderful films having been released or due for release. This means that a day out with the grand children at the cinema is certainly a worthwhile one.

There are quite a few comic book adaptions out or due to be released, from the Green Lantern to Thor and many more besides. Combine these with films such as Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean, and it is a winning formula all around!

If you avoid buying drinks and snacks at the cinema, and buy a discount ticket, it can be a great place to visit and build some wonderful family memories which your grandchildren will carry with them as they grow older.
