Too much doom and gloom is no good for anyone, and so it is time to switch off from all thoughts of the economy and equity release and relax in front of a film or two. 2011 sees some great films having either hit, or are about to hit our cinema screens.
To start off with, it seems to be a year of the comic books reaching the big screen again. X- men First Class has proven to be a hit with audiences around the world, who are commending the two lead actors for their roles. There is also a cameo appearance by Wolverine, who perhaps utters the best one liner ever in cinema!
Thor is another comic book outing, although it had received mixed reviews. Captain America is due to be released later in the year, and this will then potentially set up the much anticipated Avengers film.
Comic book adaptions aside, the Hangover 2 has proven to be incredibly popular with everyone apart from the review critics! It is well worth seeing, and don't be scared of it not being as good as the first one… it really is!
Two films yet to hit are the final Harry Potter film, and also the first half of the long awaited Hobbit films. With so many quality films either having been released or soon to be released, we really are being spoilt for choice!
